ADMISSION INFORMATION

        Candidates seeking admission into the Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) must have passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination/West African Examination Council with Minimum of 5 credits including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two sittings. Candidates can be admitted into the programme at 100 levels or 200 levels. Candidates has to be Medically/Physically fit not handicapped: hearing problem, blindness, deafness, amputation of any kind and/or loss of a limb or any severe deformity .

 Direct entry (200 level)

>    Candidates must have a minimum of grade C pass at

Higher School Certificate/GCE advanced level or IJMB in Biology, Chemistry and Physics in not more than two sittings.

>    Candidates with a minimum of second class honours degree in any of the basic sciences from a recognized university.

 > Candidates with Diploma in Physiotherapy or related course from schools that are approved/Accredited by MRTB

Admission requirements for Master of Physiotherapy program

> A Bachelor of Science (BSc) Physiotherapy degree with a  minimum of second class lower obtained from Bayero University Kano or any other recognized University

> A Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree from Bayero

 University Kano or any other recognized University

> In addition, candidates may be required to go through a selection process

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS for MSC PHYSIOTHERAPY

PROGRAM

> Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Physiotherapy with a minimum CGPA of 2.75.

> Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), BMR or DPT from Bayero University Kano or other recognized institutions.

> In addition, candidates may be required to go through a

selection process approved by the Department of Physiotherapy.

> Possess a Current MRTB License.

 

Admission Requirements for PhD physiotherapy program

1)  MSc in Physiotherapy with minimum CGPA of 3.50

2)  M. Phil in Physiotherapy with an average score of 60% or higher with respect to the coursework and defense of proposal

3) Candidates may be required to attend a screening process
